Spendenaufruf für Geflüchtete/People-in-Transit und für
Supportstrukturen in Zusammenhang mit den Kämpfen für
Bewegungsfreiheit an der italienisch/französischen Grenze; Winter 2020

Es gehen wieder Menschen an die Grenzen der Festung Europas. Covid-19
bewirkt, dass Staaten sich abschotten und sich die Siutationen an den
Grenzen verschärfen. Die Bewegungsfreiheit ist nun für viele
eingeschränkt - für Geflüchtete und People-in-Transit ist das jedoch
ein beständiger Teil ihrer Lebensrealität. Was den Bereich der
Unterstützungsversuche angeht, hat Covid-19 und der Rechtsruck auf
politisch-parlamentarischer Ebene ebenfalls Auswirkungen - Menschen und
Strukturen brechen weg, auf die sich Geflüchtete und People in Transit
stützen können. Die selbstorganisierten Strukturen, die z.B. im Fall
der italienisch/französischen Grenze übrig sind, versuchen ihr Bestes
und
sind  gleichzeitig mit massiver Repression konfrontiert. Es geht darum,
auf Bedürfnisse von Geflüchteten und People-in-Transit einzugehen -
ohne Bürokratie und mit einer ständigen Reflexion über die
Ungleichverteilung von Privilegien. Aktuell fällt das schon nicht mehr
so leicht, weil der Winter kommt und sich Bedürfnisse verändern und
intensivieren, während gleichzeitig die Ressourcen knapper werden.
Aber Ressourcen lassen sich heranschaffen! Der Bedarf an Spenden in Form
von Kleidung ist zu großen Teilen von lokalen Strukturen gedeckt.

Benötigt werden aber noch Dinge wie:

    ★ Smartphones und Powerbanks (funktionierende!)
          --> Um sie direkt an Menschen zu verteilen, deren Phones bspw.

              am Balkan, auf deren Transitroute von den dortigen 
              Repressionsbehörden zerstört oder abgenommen wurden.

    ★ Geld  --> um die Versorgung von Essen und Unterkunft, und
                  allfällig Benötigtem zu finanzieren.

    ★ Laptops --> um sie Geflüchteten und People-in-Transit zur
                  Recherche, und Supportstrukturen für alltägliche
                  Arbeiten zur Verfügung zu stellen.

    ★ Schlafsäcke

    ★ Winterschuhe Größe 40-43

Komm gern vorbei, wenn du etwas von diesen Dingen hast und nicht mehr
benötigst, oder sie generell beisteuern magst.

Wegen der aktuellen Covid_19 Lage und den derzeitigen
Ausgangsbeschränkungen gibt es folgendes Abgabesystem:

    ～ Es wird eine Box vor der Eingangstür geben, um Spenden
hineinzulegen.

    ～ Klopft gerne an! So können wir mit entsprechendem Abstand
und MNS an der Tür Spenden entgegennehmen.

    *Weil es gerade auch nicht geht eine Soliparty zu schmeißen, haben
wir uns gedacht diesen catchy title zu verwenden und die Spendenaktion
eines großen Radiosenders zu appropriaten, für emanzipatorische
Zwecke.
Also, machen wir's wie damals, zu Weihnachten die alten funktionierenden
Smartphones hergeben. Nur dass sie dieses mal, anstatt von Menschen in
Ausbeutungsverhältnissen auseinandergenommen werden, an Menschen
verteilt werden die den Struggle für Freedom of Movement leben!

 Subject: Solidarity-miracle bag* (Christmas cell phone donation
campaign)

Call for donations for people-in-transit and for support structures in
connection with the struggles for freedom of movement on the
Italian/French border; winter 2020

People are going to the borders of Fortress Europe again. Because
Covid-19 causes states to shut themselves off and the situation at the
borders becomes worse. The freedom of movement is currently for many
restricted - For refugees and people in transit this is a
constant part of their reality. For support structures, Covid-19 and a
shift to the right on the political-parliamentary level also has an
impact - people and structures are falling apart, on which refugees and
people in transit can depend. The self-organized structures that remain
on the Italian/French border are trying their best, even though they are
also threatened by massive repression. It is about responding to the
needs of refugees and people in transit - without bureaucracy and with a
constant reflection about the unequal distribution of privileges.
Currently, this is not so easy, because winter is coming and needs are
changing and intensifying while resources are becoming more limited.
 But resources can be provided! The need for donations in the form of
clothing is largely covered by local structures.
But there are still things needed like:

    ★ Smartphones and Power Banks (functioning)

     -->To distribute them directly to people whose phones have been
destroyed or taken away by the local repression authorities, for example
in the Balkans, on their transit route.

    ★ Money --> to finance of food and accommodation, and any other
necessities.

    ★ Laptops --> to provide them to refugees and people-in-transit for
research and  for support structures for everyday work.

   ★ Sleeping bags

   ★ Winter shoes size 40-43

Come by, if you have any of these things and no longer need
them, or if you would like to contribute in general.

Because of the current Covid-19 situation and the current restrictions
we have considered the following delivery system:

    ～ There will be a box in front of the entrance door to put donations
in.

    ～ Knock! This way we can accept donations with the appropriate
distance and Mouth-and-Nose-protection at the door.

    *Since it's not possible to organize a Soliparty, we thought we'd
use this catchy title and appropriate the fundraising campaign of a big
radio station, for the sake of emancipation. So, let's do it like we did
back then, give away the old functioning smartphones for Christmas. Only
this time, instead of being taken apart by people in exploitative
conditions, they will be distributed directly to people who live the
Struggle for Freedom of Movement!
